NorSC Value paper is thicker, has a smoother surface and a cleaner look compared to SC-B alternatives. When replacing SC-A and SC-B with NorSC Value, the basis weight can be reduced by 4 gr (8%) and 8-10 gr (16-20%) respectively, while maintaining the same thickness.
NorSC Lite combines print quality with sustainable production and environmental advantages for publishers and retailers. NorSC Lite allows customers to reduce the basis weight while maintaining unique print quality. Lower basis weight can reduce freight costs and emissions.
SC newsprint with brightness of 69%, available in basis weight: 42; 45 47.4; 52 and 56 gsm.

NorSC Polar (Norske Skog Saugbrugs, Norway)
NorSC Polar is a lightweight uncoated paper also called LWU with high brightness. In combination with an appealing gloss level, NorSC Polar delivers excellent print quality especially for colourful images.
NorSC Polar is also a cost-effective alternative to LWC.
Glossy SC newsprint with brightness of up to 80%, available in basis weight: 45 ; 47.4; 51 54; 57 and 60 gsm.

Nor Opaq is a high end uncoated mechanical improved paper from Saugbrugs. With high opacity and a bulky sheet there is a visible difference in the printed product compared to standard UMI.
